gOT Spirit Challenge 2017

Celebrate OT month with us! OT Students from universities across the country have entered the annual gOT Spirit Challenge, and the stakes are high! The school with the most views by Oct. 30, 2017 will win $500 to the charity of their choice. Click play and share away!

DID YOU KNOW? U of A founded the ‘gOT Spirit’ Challenge 8 years ago!

What is it:

Every year, the University of Alberta Occupational Therapy Students hosts the gOT Spirit Challenge!

The goal of “gOT spirit challenge” is to encourage students to enhance awareness of occupational therapy during occupational therapy month. It is a way to connect occupational therapy programs across Canada and form a friendly network. It also creates fun inter-university competition building, fellowship and camaraderie between students, our future colleagues.

You are cordially invited to participate in the 2017 gOT Got Spirit Challenge!

The Occupational Therapy Students at the University of Alberta are issuing a challenge to our student colleagues across Canada. We want to see who can display the most pride and spread the most OT awareness through the “gOT Spirit Challenge.”
We are asking each university program in Canada to create a unique video to promote OT. Final videos will be submitted to this group at the end of OT month in October. Participants are then encouraged to share their videos with family and friends, and a winner will be determined based on the greatest number of likes and shares. The winning school will be awarded a $500 donation to the charity of their choice, a gift from the U of A Professional Development Committee.

Good luck to all participants! Channel your inner creativity and passion, and we look forward to seeing your posted videos at the end of October! Happy OT month to all!
