Occupational therapy has been offered in Calgary since September 2012. Of the 120 students admitted to the program, approximately 20 students will study in Calgary. The program is a combination of in-person instruction as well as videoconferencing and online instruction delivered from the Edmonton or Calgary campuses.
A PDC rep for the Calgary Cohort is chosen for each incoming class. This rep is responsible to liaise between the PDC committee in Edmonton and students in Calgary. They are also involved in bringing aspects of PDC events in Edmonton to Calgary.
PDC events such as the PDC conference, clothing orders and spirit events involve students at the Calgary campus.
