What made you pursue OT, and where do you see yourself going: I knew I wanted to work in health care, but wanted to find the right fit. I took an undergraduate elective in OT and became attracted to the holistic nature and broad scope of rehab therapy. I love the idea of creating human connections and problem solving ways to allow people greater independence. Currently, I have a few interests, but could see myself working with the geriatric population in long term care.

What you enjoy most about the program: The incredible community of people- classmates, faculty, clinicians- who are supportive, encouraging, and share a common passion of promoting meaningful lives.

Fun piece of information about yourself: My two favourite activities are drinking tea and befriending dogs.

One piece of advice to first year students: Be confident in yourself and your abilities because you’ve been accepted into the program for a reason-  your mistakes and challenges are opportunities for growth.
