What made you pursue OT, and where do you see yourself going: When I started my undergrad I thought I was going to be a dietitian, however, after two years of studying, I realized that wasn’t the career for me so I began searching for other options and then I stumbled upon OT. After doing some research and shadowing I fell in love with the profession and thought it would be a great fit! I can see myself working in the community, pediatrics or in mental health!

What do you enjoy most about the program:  I love all the friends I have made in the program! Everyone is so kind, supportive and helpful! Anything you need someone is always willing to offer a helping hand.

Fun piece of information about yourself: When I was three years old I wanted to be a semi-truck driver…well I guess things have sure changed haha.

One piece of advice to first year students: Remember to take breaks and have fun! The program will be intense at times but never forget to take time for yourself 🙂
