What made you pursue OT, and where do you see yourself going: I was drawn to OT after witnessing my grandfather’s recovery from a stroke. I’m still very interested in neuro rehab and I could definitely see myself going in this direction. However, I am also intrigued by the diversity of the OT profession, so I can’t say for sure that neuro is where I’ll end up!

What you enjoy most about the program: I love the comradery in this program! Everyone is on the same team and working towards a common goal. It’s a great change of pace from my undergrad experience.

Fun piece of information about yourself: I grew up on a farm and one of my favorite hobbies is riding horses and rodeoing!

One piece of advice to first year students: Take care of yourself! It can be hard to find a balance between school and your personal life, but take time to do the things you enjoy. Your grades may actually benefit in the long run!
